LAHORE: Jamat e Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch said that the United States and India were behind the terrorist activities in Karachi and Balochistan as they want to weaken Pakistan and sabotage CPEC.
Addressing party workers on Tuesday, he said that India failed to cool down the Kashmiri movement for liberation despite extreme oppression. He advised the leaders not benefit the enemy by making wrong decisions.
He urged the rulers to take every step necessary to unite the nation and develop a countrywide agreement on national priorities by rising above personal or party interests.
Liaqat Baloch said that JI was in touch with all peace-loving parties and was working hard to eliminate corruption and poverty. He was hopeful that all patriotic people would join JI’s noble task to establish an Islamic system throughout the country. He paid tribute to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Jehangir Bader and said that the deceased was an asset of PPP and a sincere worker of Bhutto.
